Gridiator is a game that is produced by Yeylol Technology Sdn Bhd, a company in Malaysia that produces a multimedia system and also several apps and games.

"Gridiator, a strategy space-invading game that challenges your tactical intellect in conquering your opponents on the battlefield! Choose between interesting alien worlds and compete against opponents across the server to determine who is the best invader in the galaxy!"

The game is now available on the Yeylol Cheez system, and also as a Win8 tablet app.

I worked as the lead game artist on the project, producing game assets and UI designs for the game. I was also the designer of the Gridiator logo.

Company Logo for Patronoid Games LTD

Patronoid Games LTD is a company based in the United Kingdom, that specialises in creating entertaining and targeted indie games for the PC platform. They were looking for a company logo that fits in with their company image, namely as creative, professional and conservative.

I came up with three designs for them to choose. I found that "patronoid" is a portmanteau term describing those who are paranoid and dismissive of others who dispute their paranoia. That was how the paranoid-looking face came to be.

In the end the client chose the first one as their company logo. It was a fun project, and I would love the chance to work together with them again in the future.

Company Logo for HanaVet Sdn. Bhd.

HanaVet Sdn. Bhd. is a pet pharmaceutical company in Malaysia. They were looking for a designer to help with branding, and I am honoured to be chosen as that designer.

With the logo, they are looking for a happy dog and happy cat image, with red as the corporate colour.

Company Logo for Teng Yun Worldwide

Teng Yun Worldwide is a logistic company based in Malaysia. They were open for any designs, but were partial towards having the initials in it.

The idea for this logo design is similar to their service motto: providing a one-stop logistic solution. They like that the logo is made of one continuous line, which is in accordance to the one-stop service. The line has two sides (dark blue and light blue), and forms a blue circle around the initials, symbolising the world.

Best of all, they are impressed by the hidden 'w' in the initials 't' and 'y'. Together it spells out the initials of Teng Yun Worldwide, and the little pleasant surprise is the feeling they hope they will provide to their clients as well.

Company Logo for The Mind

The Mind Psychological Services and Training in Malaysia contacted me to create their logo. They wanted something abstract that can fit both corporate and the general public. I proposed using dark green as their corporate colour as dark green is actually the representative colours of mental health and awareness.

Product Logo for The TAO Method™

"The TAO Method™ is a method of work used successfully by Ian McKellar for over thirty years to approach large and small projects in a methodical way. The method of work is his own system based on the processes and techniques he was taught for learning stagecraft as an actor in the late 1970’s."

As the method was based on stagecraft, the client asked to incorporate an actor's mask in the logo. The logo design was also based a lot on Broadway style.

Blackwinged Creatives (Jia Xuan Hon Ltd, London) wanted a logo that represents their artistic values. We agreed on the fanned-out wing of a black crane, a majestic-looking bird with all the grace and poise worthy of a dancer, and represented with strong brushstrokes.
