App UI/UX Design For A Local and Korean Cuisine Restaurant

Established in 2018 December, Mix & Mingle is an exciting new restaurant in Kelang, Malaysia that offers local favourites and Korean taste for fusion foodies.
To make food ordering fast and fun, they had the idea to forgo traditional pen and paper ordering, and switch to app ordering. Not only is this time-saving for both the customers and the servers, it is also less prone to ordering mistakes, making ordering a breeze.

The main point we have to remember when designing the app is that the customer age range can be very big - not only does it have to cater to young ones who usually have no problem with technology but may not be as literate, it also has to be easy to use for the older generations who may be averse to new tech. Hence we came up with a few rules:
1. Big and clearly legible text,
2. Enticing pictures of the food,
3. Clear instructions on how to order.
